⑪ SHOULDER TO APEX
To measure shoulder to apex, place the measuring tape on the highest point of your shoulder and bring it down to the nipple line, making sure it stays vertical to the body.
⑫ SHOULDER TO WAIST FRONT
place the measuring tape on the highest point of your shoulder and bring it down to the waistline in the front making sure it stays vertical to the body. The waistline is typically an inch or so above your belly button.
⑮ SHOULDER TO WAIST BACK
To measure shoulder to waist back, place the measuring tape on the highest point of your shoulder and bring it down to the waistline in the back, which is the midpoint of your back.
⑱ WAIST TO HIP
To measure waist to hip, place the measuring tape at your waistline and bring it down to the fullest part of your hips, making sure it stays vertical to the body.
⑥ BUST HEIGHT
For bust height, measure the distance from the base of your neck to the fullest part of your bust.
⑭ APEX TO WAIST
To measure apex to waist, place the measuring tape on the highest point of your breast (apex) and bring it down to the waistline, making sure it stays vertical to the body.
㉔ FULL LENGTH
To measure full length, place measuring tape at the highest point of the shoulder down to the ankle or desired length.
① NECK
To measure the neck, wrap the measuring tape around your neck and note the measurement.
② SHOULDER TO SHOULDER
To measure shoulder to shoulder, place the measuring tape at the base of one shoulder bone and bring it across to the base of the other shoulder bone , passing over the highest point of your back.
⑬ APEX TO APEX
For apex to apex, place measuring tape from nipple to nipple.
③ UPPER BUST
To measure the upper bust, wrap the measuring tape around your back,under armpitsand bring it around to the front, passing over the top of your bust.
④ BUST
To measure the bust, wrap the measuring tape around your back,under armpits and bring it around to the front, passing over the fullest part of your bust.
⑤ LOWER BUST
To measure the lower bust, wrap the measuring tape around your back and bring it around to the front, passing under the bust line.
⑦ WAIST
To measure waist, wrap the measuring tape around the smallest part of your waistline, typically an inch or so above your belly button.
⑰ HIP
For hip measurement, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, making sure it stays vertical to the body.
⑨ WRIST
To measure wrist, wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your wrist, just above the bone.
⑧ BICEP
To measure bicep, wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your upper arm, making sure it stays vertical to the arm.
⑩ ARM TO WRIST
To measure arm to wrist, extend your arm out to the side and measure from the tip of your shoulder bone down to the wrist bone.
㉑ WAIST TO HEM
To measure the waist-to-hem length, place a measuring tape at the narrowest part of your waist and extend it down to the hem or desired hem length.
⑳ LEG LENGTH
To measure your leg length, start at the top of your inner thigh and measure down to the ankle bone. To measure the outer length, start from the waistline or lower waistline and measure down to the ankle bone and note the measurements..This will give you an accurate measurement for pants or skirts.
⑯ LOWER WAIST
To measure your lower waist, place a measuring tape around your natural waistline 1 inch below your belly button and note the measurement. Measure down from waistline to your hip bone and note the measurements. This will give you an accurate measurement for pants or skirts that sit lower on your waist.
⑲ THIGH
To measure your thigh, wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of each of your youthighs and note the measurement of the left and right thigh. This will give you an accurate measurement for pants or skirts that fit more closely to your legs.
㉒ KNEE
To measure your knee, wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of each your knees and note the measurement of the left and right knee.. This will give you an accurate measurement for knee-length skirts or pants.
㉓ CALF
To measure your calf, wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of each of your calvesand note the measurement of the left and right calf. This will give you an accurate measurement for pants or skirts that fit more closely to your legs.
㉕ ANKLE WIDTH
To measure your ankle width, wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of each of your ankles and note the measurement of the left and right ankles. This will give you an accurate measurement for pants or skirts that end at your ankle.
㉖ WAIST TO SEAT
To measure your waist-to-seat length, seat on a flat chair, place a measuring tape at your natural waistline and extend it down to the Flat surface of the seat close to your hip curve. This will give you an accurate measurement for pants crotch area.
㉗ ARM HOLE
To measure your armhole, place one end of the measuring tape at the top of your shoulder where the shoulder meets your arm. Then, bring the tape down towards your armpit and around the fullest part of your armpit. Make sure the tape is not too tight, and take note of the measurement. This measurement is important for determining the fit of tops, dresses, and jackets.
